The Swampfox 12 team roster includes current and former military veterans.  Only active team members are shown on the roster.

Captain Matthew Meraz

Active Since: 1999
Bio:  Matthew is the commander of Swamp Fox 12. As one of the original members of Swampfox 12, he has been actively playing airsoft since 1999. Matthew works as a pilot when he’s not playing airsoft.

 

 

1st Luitenant Casey Meraz
Callsign: Casey / Growler
Active Since: 1999
Bio:  Casey Meraz has been active in the Colorado Airsoft community since 1999.  Since this time he has dedicated his efforts towards building the sport of airsoft throughout Colorado.  He is a co-founder of Airsoft Colorado and Colorado Milsim and hosts airsoft games for ASCO.  Casey is one of the original members of Swampfox 12.

2nd Luitenant Benjamin Rondou
Callsign: Noodles
Active Since: 1999
Bio:  As a current US Army Psychological Operations NCO, Lt. Rondou brings over nine years of US Army leadership experience to the team.  Ben has participated in many national airsoft operations since 2000 and is one of the original members of Swampfox12.

 

 

 

2nd Luitenant Tom Allred

Active Since: 1999
Bio:  Tom is one of the original members of Swampfox 12. Tom has developed solid leadership through endless weekend games and attending over 20 national operations. Tom holds the team record for national ops attended.

 

 

Jarrod Doherty
Callsign: Dirty
Active Since: 1999
Bio:  Jarrod is one of the original members of Swampfox 12, and has attended 12 national ops. He is an experienced and respected leader on the airsoft field.

 

 

Drew White
Callsign: Striker
Active Since: 2006
Bio:  A former US Army Ranger, Drew joined the team in 2006 and has been attending national ops ever since.

 

 

Sgt. Troy Showell
Callsign: Columbus
Active Since: 2002
Bio: With close to 10 years of airsoft experience, Sgt Showell is a solid leader and tactician on the airsoft field.  He is currently training to join the Air Force with a contract for Special Tactics.

 

 

JD Gardiner

Active Since: 2003
Bio:  Sgt Gardiner is another experienced airsoft veteran who has attended multiple national ops. He is currently on leave in the Dominican Republic, but will return in the fall of 2011 to the team and his Army ROTC Battalion.

 

 

Sgt. Ben Bass

Bio:  Sgt Bass has been playing airsoft for several years, and has quickly become a very skilled player.

 

 

Andrew Dunn

Bio:  Dunn is a longtime member of the team and an experienced airsoft player.

 

 

Sgt. Cody Brasel

Active Since: 2007
Bio:  Sgt Brasel is a seasoned veteran and leader on the team. He has some experience hosting ASCO games, and is currently a U.S. Army ROTC cadet.

 

 

Ethan Yang

Active Since: 2008
Bio:  Yang has been to several national ops, and currently is serving in the U.S. Army Reserve.

 

 

Mark Brantley

Bio:  In the few years he’s been on the team, Brantley has improved his airsoft skill by attending several ops.

Bio:  Dallas has been a member of the team for several years, and has attended several national ops.

 

Kent Zimmerman

Active Since: 2010
Bio:  Zimmerman is one of the newer players on the team, but has shown his competence both on the field and as a skilled gun technician.
